knowledge about mathematics and culture. Ethnomathematics derived from the word
"ethno, math, and tic". Ethno is a collection of culture such as
language, ideology, or conclusions. Math is measuring, classifying, and making
inferences. While the tic is the art or technique. So ethnomathematics can
include activities count, measure, determine the location, building design, and
cultural activities described of mathematics. Ethnomathematics
