Ethnomathematics and Mathematics

Etnomathematics is an ethnic contextual math to learn the basic principles or common to other ethnic and innovative elements. In studying ethnomathematics may notice the following:
           a. Signs such as manners, culture, and procedures in order to have insight 
      b. Do not really on speculation
      c. Work and do
The examples of ethnomathematics are street mathematic in Brazil by examining Terecia Noun, she observe, and publish hawkers in street at Argentina that uses mathematical techniques themselves more quickly and completely. The following questions were asked by students to Mr. Marsigit about ethnomathematics.
      1.  Hildegardis Mulu asked how teachers implement innovative teaching methods?
Mr. Marsigit's answer: Innovative learning method is  ourselves, traditional learning methods are ourselves, authoritarian teaching methods is us, democracy is a method of learning ourselves. So the method of learning mathematics and ethnomathematics  is ourselves and our activities as teachers provide facilities for student can do mathematics or ethnomathematic activity and so do others science  and teacher show herself when he teach  . Education System which is not controlled is arena to innovative, because now education is investment and a need.
   2. Nawang Wulan asked what is used to evaluate student if National Exam is so complicated?
Mr. Marsigit's answer: complicated is situation that anomaly or mismanagement leader which not think Indonesia vision 100 years later. We can see that first president want to be a president lifetime. Second president is influenced by her child, grand child, and third, fourth, and  fifth president is many find corrupt cast and the last president is busy to keep his party. We can be followed Obama, president of America when he inductee, he say, " Oh my nation, it is still star which you are found by yourselves to give the name". But Indonesia leader make situation to be complex, teacher , chancellor, chair party and socialite cannot be believed and Indonesia need to revolution not enough to reformation and need to blow from hero which know about education likes psychology and be brave future. National Exam is did because  teacher  cannot be believed, it doesn’t need to pay and the nation is acute because influenced by other capitalism  country. The example border area which is influenced by city influenced and village defense likes when there are Kenduren, which invite 40 people and just 15 which come. And the reason is so variety likes he is tired worker, and overtime but when side of Merapi Mount is all that came Kenduren.
Indonesia have not concept to build government because have not vision to next future and there are so may corrupt case.
     3. Dyah ask what is base concept of ethnomathematic ?
Mr. Marsigit answer: ethnomathematic is mathematics contextual according ethnic and the goal is to make innovative learning, activity variation, and method.
     4.  Venti ask what is street mathematics?
Mr. Marsigit answer: Terecia analysed, observe, and publication hawkers  street at Argentina  use mathematics by herself which faster and  true. She used survey and case study. Ethnomathematics is qualitative research and long term. the example is activity grand child which connected with mathematics concept, identification of Java descendant lie when he is 2 years 3 year, and so on. The aim is to find more criteria detail which is influenced by ethno and mathematics ability to counteract which is used person or general country (American, Europe etc)
