Mathematical experience is required in the process of learning
mathematics. Experience can make the math easier to learn and understand
mathematical concepts. The existence of the deeds and thoughts that are found
by the students during the process of formulating or interpret a concept will
cause scars and its own experience in the thought process of students,
especially when the findings of students think intuitively is the term for the
ability to understand something without thinking through the process of
intuition reasoning in students should be encouraged to think with the mind of
the student in the recognition and understanding of the concepts, the discovery
process is not that teachers are forced to intervene in order to process
quickly or knowledge of things unknown gained through the process of thinking
without awareness, happen quickly, suddenly. Because the emphasis is not the
result but the process of discovery through the concept of student thinking is
the goal of thinking intuitively. So, If teachers only wonder what the results
might not only teachers teach their students to pursue in order to pass the
exam without thinking about how students understand the concept. It is found
that the case showed that the students just memorize the national exam, because
they memorized or pattern of problems that already exist on the national exam
was earlier believed to be about the same as the problems that they will face
when the national exam. But when they encounter problems that have the same
concept but a different pattern of problems they have encountered and will make
the students confused and find it difficult to work.
That is one result when students
are not encouraged to think intuitively. Besides the spread of practical formulas
to solve problems more quickly become another problem in understanding the
concept. Actually, the practical formula derived from the general formula, but
many students do not care where practical formula is taken, they are more
concerned about the practical use of the formula that makes them the faster the
work on the problems. Subsequent impact when they do not think the intuition is
the effect of long-time learning new material. The concept has always continued
as we learn new concepts, old concepts needed to support our knowledge the new
concept to be learned, unfamiliarity previous concept will make students feel
difficulty in understanding the concept to be learned. This is exactly what
causes a student found it difficult to study mathematics and do not like math
because they do not want to know the math but they are forced to love math
because of the encouragement obligation to finish school or graduating. From
this we can conclude that intuition with experience of mathematical thinking is
needed in order to learn mathematics cause scars and experience to build
students' thinking in understanding concepts, so expect teachers not only teach
students how to pass the national exam but understanding and experience of
concepts that must be affirmatively math into lessons really beneficial for
students.
